Brunch for Beginners (2026) Movie Night 📽️

Friday night, movie night at the BEFS Members Bar! 

Join us to view the recently released Bulgarian comedy, for an exclusive Adelaide screening. Movie in Bulgarian, with English subtitles.

In a series of absurd situations and culinary disasters, sincere laughter shines through bitter tears. And the big question remains: is striving for the perfect image worth it, or is the recipe for true happiness hidden somewhere else?

Bulgarian Education, Alphabet & Culture Day

Join us for a celebration of the Slavonic Alphabet, Bulgarian Enlightenment and Culture on Sunday the 24th of May. Performances by Sts. Cyril & Methodius Sunday School and Kitka Folkloric Dance Group. Donations of sweets are appreciated.

Church

Join us for worship at 10 am every Sunday at St Petka Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church. The Church is located behind the Club.

Fridays: Open from 6:30 pm

'Sts Cyril and Methodius' Bulgarian Ethnic School

The Bulgarian Language School conducts classes from 2 pm to 4 pm during School Terms. This is then followed by dancing classes with Alicia Stefanoff for those children interested. Click here for further details.

Friday Night Themed Dinners

Themed Dinners are generally held on the last Friday of the month in the Bulgarian Members Room, Bulgarian Hall from 6:30pm for a 7pm start. Cost: $20 for Adults, $15 for current financial members and $10 for children between 7 and 15 years. Children under 7 Free. Details of the next function are added to this page.
